The museums of the music town are closely related with music and the former life and work of the inhabitants of our area.

The Museum of Musical Instruments Markneukirchen has a unique collection of international distinction. It contains more than 3000 musical instruments from all over the world.

Framus Museum: More than 200 exhibits – from violins to electric basses – recount the story of Framus and illustrate the development of different styles of music since WW2.

Equally interesting, is a visit of "Hüttel's Musikwerkausstellung" which specializes in mechanical musical instruments.

The open-air museum in Landwüst gives a very clear insight into the history of the region and the life of the people of the past.
