Bismarck Tower
On the "Oberer Berg" in Markneukirchen there is the oldest Bismarck-tower of Saxony. It was built in 1900 and you can visit the look-out daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.. It is 14 m high and has 58 steps inside.
protestant church St. Nicolai
The church St. Nicolai is situated in the centre of the town on the market place. It was ordained in 1848 and inside you find the one and only Schulze-Organ of Saxony. Concerts take place regularly. Cinema "Harmonie"
