I would like to greet you on behalf of the citizens of the town and on my behalf to the website of our town.

Here you will find current and interesting information about the centre of musical instrument making, as Markneukirchen is rightly called.
The making of large quantities of nearly all musical instruments within a very small area, with a tradition of more than 350 years, makes Markneukirchen a unique place in Europe.
The musical instruments are high-quality artistic instruments made using traiditional craftsmanship to the most modern methods of production. The making of musical instruments, the modern living conditions and the attractive landscape create the unique flair of Markneukirchen.
Making music with many different orchestras and music groups plays an important role not only in May during the International Instrumental Competition that takes place every year with participants from all 5 continents, but throughout the year.

I would like to invite you, to get to know our town with ist cultural variety and discover its attractions and offers.
