Museum of Musical Instruments
The Museum of Musical Instruments Markneukirchen belongs to the most significant museums of musical instruments in Europe. The collection includes about 3000 musical instruments from all over the world and is situated in a late Baroque building, the so-called "Paulus-Schlösschen", which has a special flair. It shows in detail the history of the production of musical instruments in Markneukirchen and the neighbouring villages. Each year, approximately 40 000 visitors from Germany and abroad enjoy the unique exhibition.

Concerts take place occasionally in the attractive patio of the small "castle" during the summer.
