International Instrumental Competition
The International Instrumental Competition Markneukirchen belongs to the world famous, well-known music competitions that are organized by the WORLD FEDERATION OF INTERNATIONAL MUSIC COMPETITIONS, Geneva. The competition is to support new recruits of musicians. Since 1966 the contest is an international competition and is held alternating every year with string or wind instruments. Leading artists and pedagogues form the international jury that judges the performances of the young musicians in each category. The competition has a unique position in the world because it is held where high-quality instruments are made by masters. The great response is based on the unique flair and the interaction of trade and artistic work.
