Secondary School
Since its foundation, the secondary school Markneukirchen has developed very positively. This is shown by rising numbers of pupils and good results in exams and competitions. The performances of the pupils of the musical-artistic course are known not only in Markneukirchen. About 150 actors compose musicals and give concerts and so they contribute in a special way to the cultural life of the southern Vogtland. In their project "Klassenmusizieren" and in the new basic course "Music and Economy" you can see the close relationship to the musical traditions of the town. Gymnasium Markneukirchen
