University of Applied Sciences
A special course of studies has been established in the German centre for musical instrument making. Using the experiences in making musical instruments of some hundred years, this course of studies of the University of Applied Sciences Zwickau connects the traditions in handcraft with modern scientific education. They offer courses of studies in bow-making, violin-making and making of plucked string-instruments. There is a close collaboration between the University of Applied Sciences Zwickau program in the making of musical instruments and the Museum of Musical Instruments Markneukirchen.
